Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure you are in a clean and sterile environment.
• Wash your hands thoroughly and put on appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves.

Inspect the Syringe:

• Check the syringe’s packaging for any signs of damage or tampering. Do not use it if the packaging is compromised.
• Confirm that the syringe is within its expiration date.

Prepare Medication:

• Draw up the required medication into the syringe using appropriate aseptic techniques.
• Ensure that the medication dosage matches the prescribed amount.

Attach Needle:

• Remove the protective cap from the needle hub.
• Attach the needle securely to the syringe’s Luer Lock or Luer Slip tip, depending on the syringe type.

Eliminate Air Bubbles:

• Hold the syringe with the needle pointing upward.
• Gently tap the syringe to dislodge any air bubbles.
• Slowly depress the plunger to expel any remaining air, making sure the medication fills the needle.

Administer Medication:

• Choose the appropriate injection site on the patient’s body.
• Cleanse the site with an antiseptic solution.
• Insert the needle smoothly into the tissue or vein at the correct angle and depth.

Withdraw Needle:
