The TOPvision FS and Rhodium versions differ only in reflection tone—Rhodium mirrors provide a “warmer” colour touch, while the FS-Combi coating delivers a “cooler” appearance. Specifications

The mirroring with rhodium on the glass surface (FS – Front Surface) has the advantage that the image is reflected directly on the surface and thus is absolutely sharp.
In a simple mirroring on the glass bottom, you have two reflections, once on the mirror layer and another – but weak reflection – on the glass surface.
Rhodium is resistant to all disinfectant products and as a “noble” precious metal, such as gold, it is even resistant to the acids used in dentistry. These are, for example, in refresh products, including Neodisher N, which contains 25% phosphoric acid.
