Directions for Use

• Preparation: Gather all necessary materials, including GC Impreceed alginate powder, a clean mixing bowl, a spatula and water.

• Measure Water: Use distilled water at room temperature (approximately 23°C) for optimal results.

• Add Powder: Measure the appropriate amount of GC Impreceed powder based on the desired volume of the impression.

• Mixing: Gradually add the alginate powder to the water while stirring continuously with the spatula. Mix for about 20 seconds until a smooth, homogenous, and bubble-free consistency is achieved.

• Loading the Tray: Immediately load the mixed alginate into the impression tray, ensuring it fills the tray evenly.

• Taking the Impression: Position the tray in the patient’s mouth and hold it steady for the recommended setting time (usually a few minutes, based on product specifications). Ensure the material fully sets before removal to maintain impression accuracy.

• Removing the Impression: Gently lift the impression tray from the mouth, using a slight rocking motion to avoid distortion.

• Storage: If not pouring immediately, store the impression in a moist environment (e.g., in a sealed plastic bag) to prevent drying out.

• Cleaning: Clean all mixing tools and trays promptly after use to prevent material from hardening on surfaces.

• Final Steps: Pour the dental cast as soon as possible for best results, following any specific instructions provided for your application.

Note: Higher temperatures of the mixing water will shorten the setting time and total working time.

• • Variations in hardness of the water may influence the setting time.

Caution: In case of contact of material or mixture with eyes, immediately flush with water and seek medical attention.
