GC Gold Label 2 LC is a visible light-cured glass ionomer restorative designed for esthetic restorations with enhanced handling and immediate command set. The material chemically bonds to enamel and dentin, releases fluoride continuously, and provides excellent radiopacity through its strontium-containing glass technology. It offers good marginal integrity, wear resistance, and long-term protection against recurrent caries. The restoration can be finished immediately after light curing, improving clinical efficiency.
Indications:
- Class III and Class V restorations,
- Cervical erosions and root surface caries,
- Restoration of primary teeth,
- Core build-up, cases where radiopacity is required,
- Use as a base or liner.
Contraindications:
- Direct pulp capping and cases where the material may come into direct contact with pulp tissue.

Directions for Use
- Prepare the tooth using standard restorative techniques.
- Apply cavity conditioner when indicated and rinse thoroughly.
- Gently dry the surface without desiccating the dentin.
- Dispense the recommended powder and liquid ratio.
- Mix for 20–25 seconds to obtain a glossy consistency.
- Place the material into the prepared cavity.
- Adapt and contour the restoration as required.
- Light cure each restoration surface for 20 seconds.
- Check for complete curing before finishing.
- Finish and polish immediately after light curing.
- Verify occlusion and make final adjustments as necessary.
- Protect the restoration according to standard restorative protocols.
