GC Gold Label 1 Glass Ionomer Cement (Big Pack) is a strontium-based glass ionomer luting cement designed for reliable, long-term clinical performance. Its radiopaque formulation allows clear post-operative diagnosis, while the sharp setting profile ensures predictable handling and reduced marginal stress. The presence of strontium supports the formation of strontium hydroxyapatite and fluoroapatite, encouraging internal remineralization and enhancing the tooth–cement interface. In calcium-rich oral conditions, the material gradually absorbs calcium ions, leading to surface strengthening and improved mechanical integrity over time. When mixed correctly, it develops a characteristic glossy surface, indicating optimal ion exchange between the cement and tooth structure for a strong chemical bond to enamel and dentin. GC Gold Label 1 offers excellent color harmony with natural tooth structure, low solubility, thin film thickness for precise luting, and fluoride release for secondary caries protection. PRECAUTIONS

• In case of contact with oral tissue or skin, remove immediately with a sponge or cotton soaked in alcohol. Flush with water.
• In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with water and seek medical attention.
• DO NOT mix powder or liquid with any other glass ionomer components.

Packaging

Gc Gold Label 1 Luting And Lining Big Pack:

• 1 x 35g Powder
• 1 x 25gm Liquid
• 1 x Mixing Pad

Directions for Use

• Dispense powder and liquid in the recommended ratio (1.4 g powder : 1.0 g liquid).

• Mix thoroughly on a mixing pad for approximately 20 seconds to achieve a glossy consistency.

• Apply the mixed cement to both the prepared tooth surface and the restoration.

• Seat the restoration within 30 seconds of completing the mix.

• Remove excess cement during the gel stage. Total setting time is about 4 minutes 30 seconds from the start of mixing.

• After final set, protect the margins by applying GC Fuji Varnish or GC Fuji Coat LC.
