Resin Modified Glass Ionomer Luting Cement

Description

GC Fuji PLUS Powder/Liquid is a resin-modified glass ionomer luting cement designed for reliable and long-lasting cementation of indirect restorations. By combining resin technology with glass ionomer chemistry, it offers strong adhesion to tooth structure while maintaining easy handling and excellent clinical performance. The material chemically bonds to dentin and enamel, reducing the need for complex bonding procedures and minimizing post-operative sensitivity.

Its smooth, creamy consistency—created by finely ground glass fillers—ensures optimal flow and a low film thickness of approximately 10 microns, allowing precise seating of crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and posts. The snap-set characteristic enables easy removal of excess cement shortly after placement, simplifying clinical procedures.

Fuji PLUS is moisture tolerant during placement and provides durable adhesion to metal, resin, and silanated porcelain restorations. Continuous fluoride release offers additional protection against secondary caries, while its radiopacity supports clear radiographic evaluation and long-term diagnostic monitoring.

Indications

  • Cementation of all types of metal, porcelain fused to metal and resin crowns, inlays, onlays and bridges
  • Cementation of porcelain inlays
