Frank Dental Tapered Round End (TR) Medium Grain Diamond Burs (made in germany) are manufactured from the highest quality steel shanks using exquisite fine natural diamonds to match international specifications. This advanced manufacturing, using computer controlled precision engineering, ensures true concentricity and balance, minimising vibration and potential damage to handpiece bearings and at the same time improving cutting efficiency and product longevity.

Different grain sizes allow the targeted removal of specific volumes and maximum conservation of tooth substance. The burs are available in various sizes. 

The Diamond plating of these burs is carried out under strictly controlled conditions specific to the bur pattern involved.

Directions for Use

• Sterilization: Always sterilize the bur in an autoclave before initial use and after every patient to comply with standard infection control protocols.
• Handpiece Placement: Insert the FG (Friction Grip) shank into a compatible airotor. Ensure proper seating and smooth, concentric rotation to minimize vibration and protect handpiece components.
• Clinical Use: Utilize for balanced cutting efficiency during cavity preparation and tooth contouring for crowns, inlays, onlays, and bridges. The medium grit offers a blend of material removal and surface refinement.
• Technique: Apply light to moderate pressure in a controlled manner. The tapered round-end shape allows formation of convergent or divergent walls and smooth transitions at internal line angles.
• Water Spray: Operate under continuous water cooling to reduce frictional heat, protect dental tissues, and maintain cutting efficiency.
• Post-Use Protocol: After completing the procedure, rinse the bur to remove debris, disinfect thoroughly, and sterilize before storage or reuse.
• Storage: Store the bur in a designated sterilized bur holder to preserve the diamond plating and ensure hygienic, ready-to-use access. Replace when cutting efficiency declines or visible wear is observed.
