Frank Dental Cylinder Flat End Medium Grit Diamond Burs (made in germany) are manufactured from the highest quality steel shanks using exquisite natural diamonds to match international specifications. This advanced manufacturing, using computer controlled precision engineering, ensures true concentricity and balance, minimising vibration and potential damage to handpiece bearings and at the same time improving cutting efficiency and product longevity.

Different grain sizes allow the targeted removal of specific volumes and maximum conservation of tooth substance. The burs are available in various sizes.

Directions for Use

• Pre-Sterilization: Autoclave the bur before first use and between procedures, following standard infection control protocols to ensure proper hygiene.
• Insertion: Securely insert the FG (Friction Grip) shank into a compatible high-speed handpiece, ensuring proper seating and stable rotation.
• Clinical Application: Use for cavity preparation, bulk tooth structure reduction, or access cavity design. The straight fissure shape allows for precise extension of cavity walls and flat floor creation.
• Cutting Technique: Apply light, controlled pressure using a sweeping motion. Avoid excessive force to reduce the risk of heat buildup and handpiece damage.
• Cooling: Use adequate water spray during operation to cool the bur, minimize frictional heat, and enhance cutting efficiency.
• Cleaning After Use: Rinse thoroughly to remove debris, disinfect the bur, and autoclave before storing.
• Storage: Place the bur in a sterile, dry bur block or container to preserve sharpness and prevent cross-contamination. Replace when signs of wear or reduced cutting efficiency appear.
