Directions for Use

Shake the Resin Thoroughly

• Always shake the resin bottle for at least 1–2 minutes before use. This ensures uniform pigment and material distribution, preventing inconsistent curing and print defects.

Work in a Clean, Ventilated Area

• Use the resin in a dust-free, well-ventilated space. This helps avoid contamination and ensures safe handling of fumes, even though the resin has a low-odor formulation.

Wear Protective Gear

• Always wear nitrile gloves, protective eyewear, and avoid direct skin contact with uncured resin. Even low-odor resins can cause irritation or allergic reactions with prolonged exposure.

Careful Resin Pouring

• Gently pour resin into the vat to avoid bubbles and splashing. Do not overfill—leave room for resin flow during printing.

Adjust Printer Settings

• Use the correct exposure times and layer height settings according to your printer model and the specific resin color. Refer to ELEGOO’s exposure chart for accurate results.

Monitor the First Layers

• Watch the first few layers to ensure proper adhesion to the build plate. Poor adhesion often leads to failed prints.

After Printing – Model Removal

• Use a plastic scraper to carefully remove the printed model from the build plate. Avoid using sharp metal tools that can damage the plate or the print.

Post-Processing – Cleaning the Model

• Clean the printed part thoroughly using isopropyl alcohol (IPA) 90% or above or ethanol to remove all uncured resin. Agitate gently in a wash container for better results.

UV Curing the Model

• Cure the cleaned model under 405 nm UV light for 2–5 minutes, depending on the size and complexity. This final curing step ensures mechanical strength and stability.

Filter and Reuse Resin

• Before storing or reusing leftover resin, filter it through a fine mesh or paper filter to remove cured particles. This helps maintain resin purity and avoids future print failures.

Clean Printer Components

• After printing, clean the resin vat, FEP film, and build plate to prevent cross-contamination and residue buildup. Use IPA and a soft cloth or tissue.

Proper Storage

• Store resin in its original opaque bottle, tightly sealed, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Avoid freezing temperatures or excessive humidity.

Disposal Instructions

Dispose of cured resin scraps and contaminated cleaning fluids according to local hazardous waste regulations. Do not pour resin down the drain.
