Directions for Use

Pre-Treatment Preparation

• Confirm the case is suitable for rotary endodontic instrumentation
• Take a pre-operative periapical radiograph to assess canal anatomy, curvature, and working length
• Achieve adequate local anesthesia and place the rubber dam
• Prepare the access cavity to allow straight-line access to canal orifices

File Preparation

• Sterilize the files via autoclave at 134°C before clinical use
• Set the endodontic motor to 300 RPM and 2.0 N·cm torque
• Verify the file is undamaged before mounting into the handpiece

Coronal Preflaring

• Begin with E0 (Size 19, Taper 0.04, 19 mm) as the orifice opener
• Introduce E0 into the coronal third of the canal without forcing it apically
• Use gentle in-and-out motion to preflare the coronal portion and improve straight-line access
• Withdraw and irrigate before proceeding

Initial Canal Negotiation

• Explore and negotiate the canal with a hand K-file to establish patency
• Confirm working length using an apex locator and radiographic verification
• Establish a reproducible glide path with a manual size 10 or 15 K-file to the apex

Sequential Rotary Shaping

• Progress to E1 (Size 18, Taper 0.02) — advance to working length with gentle in-and-out motion
• Continue with E2 (Size 20, Taper 0.04) to enlarge the canal after E1 has established the initial shape
• Use E3 (Size 20, Taper 0.07) for coronal enlargement and mid-canal shaping
• Progress to E4 (Size 25, Taper 0.08) for apical enlargement to size 25
• Use E5 (Size 30, Taper 0.09) as the final apical finishing file for larger canals when required

Irrigation Protocol

• Irrigate the canal thoroughly with sodium hypochlorite between each file
• Recapitulate with a size 10 or 15 hand file between rotary files to maintain patency
• Complete irrigation with EDTA and final saline flush before obturation

File Handling Best Practices

• Use light apical pressure — let the file cut without forcing
• Withdraw the file after 3-5 seconds of activity to clear debris
• Use each file with a smooth in-and-out pecking motion rather than continuous rotation at one depth
• Do not exceed the recommended torque or speed
