Directions for Use

Preparation

• Confirm the case is restored on a compatible RS-platform implant from Adin, Noris, MIS, or AB Dental
• Select the appropriate diameter and cuff height variant for the patient’s gingival profile and anatomical site
• Inspect the healing abutment for visible damage and sterilize via autoclave before placement

Placement

• Clean the implant connection of any debris or biological material
• Align the healing abutment with the RS platform and seat it fully into the implant
• Hand-tighten the abutment using the appropriate driver until firmly seated
• Adapt the surrounding soft tissue gently around the cuff for optimal contouring

Healing Phase

• Allow the soft tissue to heal and mature around the abutment for the recommended period
• Schedule routine recall visits to monitor soft tissue contouring and oral hygiene
• Counsel the patient on cleaning around the abutment using soft brushes and interdental aids

Removal

• Unscrew the healing abutment using the appropriate driver at the impression appointment
• Replace it with the planned impression coping or final prosthetic component
