Directions for Use

Cavity Preparation

• Prepare the cavity according to standard operative procedures for composite restorations.
• Ensure all caries and unsupported enamel are removed.
• Rinse thoroughly with water and gently air dry without desiccating the dentin.

Isolation

• Use rubber dam or cotton rolls to maintain a dry working field.
• Control moisture and saliva contamination throughout the procedure.

Bonding Procedure

• Apply a compatible dentin/enamel bonding agent according to the standard instructions.
• Light cure the bonding agent for the recommended time.

Composite Placement

• Dispense the required amount of D-Tech Compomax composite directly from the syringe.
• Place the composite into the cavity in increments not exceeding 2 mm in thickness.
• Shape and contour each increment using suitable composite instruments. The material is easy to sculpt and does not stick to instruments.

Light Curing

• Cure each increment using an appropriate dental curing light.
• Follow the lights recommended exposure time, ensuring complete polymerization of each layer.

Finishing and Polishing

• After final curing, adjust occlusion using fine diamond burs.
• Polish the restoration with polishing discs, rubber points, or polishing paste for a smooth, glossy finish.

Post-Operative Instructions

• Instruct the patient to avoid chewing excessively hard foods on the restoration for at least 24 hours.
• Recommend regular oral hygiene and periodic dental check-ups to maintain the restoration.
